Welcome to Adoption Family Camp
At this unique gathering of adoptive families from around Washington and beyond, we join together to have fun, to get to know one another, and to provide an environment for all adoptees where adoption is the norm, not the exception.
Staying at Sun Lakes gives us access to the lake, a pool, boating, hiking, fishing, mini-golf, time with family, basking in the sun, and more!
If you need a break from the fun, each unit is equipped with an AC unit, or swing by the snack shack for an ice cream!
Any adoptive family can attend, no matter how your family was formed or where you're from—come one, come all. You're welcome whether you are an adoptee, parents of an adopted child, a biological sibling, or birth parent. The whole family is invited.
We have a myriad of activities for all ages and interests. Know that you can attend whatever events you want to, but all families are encouraged to attend the major evening activity each day.
About us
Family camp is run by adoptive families, for adoptive families. We are self-funded, are staffed by volunteers, and we try to keep costs low while providing as many different opportunities as possible. Please note that since it is an all volunteer organization, response times may lag a bit as we all have full-time jobs and families as well.
